The fact that a garment comes from afar is not the worst thing.

When you read the label on a garment, it is not where it comes from but what it is made of that reveals its environmental impact! Contrary to popular belief, transport, even from Asia, accounts for less than 5% of a garment's overall environmental impact. In fact, fiber and certain manufacturing processes account for around 90% of the total impact of a textile product.
